Easier and cheaper

Compared to my last quest, #'d cards are easier and cheaper.  I'm down to the final 45 cards and

all the 106 cards I've gotten so far have been trades on TCDB.  Sooner or later I'll need to buy a

few, but I have another 12 cards proposed for trades.  When I get down to a few, I'll post the

names and see if I can trade with my fellow bloggers.

New Quest

Since I just stopped being a set collector, I've decided my new quest will be serial numbered cards of

HOF'ers and possible down the road HOF'ers.  More on set collecting.  After all I'm reading about

Fanatics and breakers, I've decided to no longer buy any new product.  Trading, going to shows and

supporting my local card shops, for as long as they survive, is my new focus.

My Serial numbered quest should be easier than Memorabilia.  I'm starting with 70 existing #'d

cards vs 20 Patch cards.  Should be less expensive also.  As always, I try to get cards that are unique.

One quest ends and another begins

Finally got the last card I needed for my Memorabilia quest.   All the Hof'ers that had Sunset cards in

the 50's until the present.   When you add in Potential HOF'ers the total was 278 cards.  I started with

about 20 cards and it took about 13 months to finish.   Here are a few of final cards:

This was the final card.
I would have finished this post about a month ago, but there was an update to IOS and it caused a problem with downloading pictures.  After a trip to the Apple store, they decided my browser  couldn't communicate with Blogger.  They couldn't fix it.  My solution was going back to my desktop Mac that is 15 years old.  It takes longer but it works.  Sometimes older is better.
