More Oddballs

One of my favorites Mini Collections are Oddballs.  Here are my latest additions to my collection.

Company, regional or promo cards are a big segment of Oddballs.

Chuck Connors, yeah right.

My favorite all time player.

Stick in the Mouth

U L Washington had many pictures of a toothpick in his mouth on his cards.  Sucker sticks must have also been popular in the 90's.

No sucker on this card, but he was prepared for the game.

Senior League card, still had the toothpick

Balancing Act 2

When I play Tennis, I balance the ball on my fingers similar to the ballplayers shown.  I used to do the same thing with the baseball a lot of years ago.   I'm pretty sure I never balanced my helmet.

Balancing Act 1

A quick theme post today with a like themed post to follow.

In The Stands

Here's a theme I recently came across:  Fan Interaction.

This is what makes a great baseball card.

On cue,  "open wide"

Everybody duck

It's a bird, a plane   Who's coming?

Did you get that ESPN.

Just resting.

A glove, a hat and a hand.
