 First time I've seen this type of card and the back has one of the greatest cartoons ever.

Joe is nicknamed Mr. Budweiser, he can outdrink any teammate.  He also played

for the Toledo Mud Hens, my home team.

COMC order arrived

 My COMC order also arrived yesterday.  I have waited for over a year to ship hoping for some special

deal with shipping, but no luck.  With almost 100 cards, it will be good for a couple of posts.  We'll

start with mostly bubbles.   Over 20 new bubble cards, but here were the highlights.

I also collect cards of players that are local.  This card is the oldest player from

the Toledo area to have a card.  There is also a Historical Roadside sign a few 

miles from my house that shows where Comstock grew up, one of the first

settlers in the Sylvania suburb.  It does not say he played baseball.  I found 

out that fact searching local sports figures and he started as a Tiger.
