My COMC order also arrived yesterday. I have waited for over a year to ship hoping for some special
deal with shipping, but no luck. With almost 100 cards, it will be good for a couple of posts. We'll
start with mostly bubbles. Over 20 new bubble cards, but here were the highlights.
Combining Bubbles and MEM, works for me
Hockey is the only sport that still has newer Bubble cards other than baseball
One of the hardest to find Bubble cards are numbered
A bubble card from the Venezuelan league, timely
I also collect cards of players that are local. This card is the oldest player from
the Toledo area to have a card. There is also a Historical Roadside sign a few
miles from my house that shows where Comstock grew up, one of the first
settlers in the Sylvania suburb. It does not say he played baseball. I found
out that fact searching local sports figures and he started as a Tiger.

ouch, 100 cards that cost nearly $30.00 in shipping I bet
ReplyDeleteBubble relic cards, who would have thought?
ReplyDeleteChewing gum while playing hockey seems like a choking hazard. ... Cool stuff.
ReplyDeletea. I was thinking the same as Johnny. Shipping 100 cards must have been pricey. Sure hope COMC changes their mind about their shipping rates.
ReplyDeleteb. I wonder if the hobby will ever see game used gum cards.
