Hockey Bubbles

A fellow reader and Blogger, BasesetCalling, commented about Bubbles on Hockey Cards. Here are cards so far. I do collect all sports when related to Bubbles on cards. Baseball has the most, Football the earliest and cards for basketball and hockey. I'm still looking for a bubble on a non sports card.

Darren McCarty has the most cards and a member of the "Grind Line"

Kris Draper, another member of the "Grind Line".

The last picture is a parallel.  There are over 200 cards
on my wantlist that are Parallels.  It keeps me searching.

As you can see most of these cards were from the 90's.
Most of the cards I collect are from that decade.
It is by far, my most favorite decade for cards.

What is your favorite Decade?

Minor League Bubbles

Minor League bubble blowing cards are the one category that I can still use a number of base cards.
Specific cards are harder to find then you would think.  Some of the cards I'm looking for are available in sets and some individual cards are expensive.  My minor league collection recently surpassed 25 bubble cards, but this is one part of the baseball card family that I know has more bubble cards.

Mini Collection Footballs on Baseball cards

Nolan Ryan knows football.   He is the clear leader in footballs on baseball cards.

Same year, his catcher.   Probably a good chance both were taken at the same session.

Different years, same session?

This a sticker.

The next three guys have a good reason for their footballs on their cards.

And the rest of my collection.

I'll finish with two players whose cards I really appreciated adding to this collection.

Holograms

I was taking pictures of cards for a post the other day and the picture below exploded in color
because I was in the bright sunlight.
